Enligt dessa ber\u00e4kningar ger str\u00e4ckningen raka v\u00e4gen\u00a0\u00f6ver V\u00e4rnamo och Ljungby (US2) st\u00f6rst regionalekonomisk nytta med\u00a0knappt 135 miljarder kr totalt \u00f6ver kalkylperioden, vilket \u00e4r knappt 9 respektive 12 miljarder mer \u00e4n US1 via Helsingborg respektive US5 via V\u00e4xj\u00f6.
